Understanding the current state of the Iranian regime

Understanding the current state of the Iranian regime These days, the fascist regime ruling Iran is in the worst state of its 40-year history, surrounded by a multitude of political, social and economic crises. Iranian officials are regularly confessing to their regime's deadlock and their incapacity to find a way out. In contrast, the Iranian resistance and the people of Iran are gaining momentum with every passing day, especially after putting behind one of the greatest political acts of their history. In this short piece, we will briefly examine the current status of the Iranian regime. To understand the current state of the Iranian regime and its supreme leader Ali Khamenei, one must not listen to the official statements of the regime's officials and its media. The real state of the regime is reflected in undisclosed discussions and developments that are happening within the regime. Iranian regime president Hassan Rouhani regularly says that the cur...

Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps IRGC: Source of regional and global terrorism and warmongering

Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps IRGC: Source of regional and global terrorism and warmongering The IRGC and the Iranian regime is the source of terrorism and warmongering in the Middle East and across the globe. Facing this global threat, Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), once again stressed on the Iranian Resistance’s demands on behalf of the Iranian opposition: - Designation Iran’s Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) and the Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS) in their entireties as terrorist entities by the U.S. and the European Union; - Expulsion of the mullahs’ MOIS agents and IRGC Quds Force operatives from the U.S. and Europe. Now, the world is witnessing how IRGC is a real threat in the Middle East. Looking at the IRGC’s record, we can clearly see the IRGC’s involvement in major terror attacks: 1983 – U.S. Marines base bombing in Beirut, Lebanon 1996 – Khobar Towers bombing in Saudi Arabia 2006 – Al-Askari ...

WHO IS MARYAM RAJAVI? PART ONE

WHO IS MARYAM RAJAVI? PART ONE Maryam Rajavi, the leader of the Iranian Resistance, is a well-known figure amongst Iranians, the Iranian diaspora, and international politicians. Sadly, many others don’t know her story or what she stands for. Even more upsetting, some are swayed by the lies of the Iranian Regime about Maryam Rajavi and her movement. That is why we’re here to set the record straight with this short series on Maryam Rajavi’s life, achievements, and goals. In this part, we will discuss her early life, how she became involved with the Iranian Resistance, her ascendency to the presidency, and an overview of her values. Maryam Rajavi was born on December 4, 1953, to a middle-class family in Tehran, Iran. Many of her family were active in the Iranian Resistance, fighting against the rule of the despotic Shah. One of her brothers, Mahmoud, was a political prisoner during the Shah’s regime for his membership of the Mujahedin-e Khalq (MEK), while her older sis...

Iran: The Untold Story-Episode 6

Iran: The Untold Story-Episode 6 Former National Security Adviser Gen. James Jones says Iranian resistance group should be celebrated. In the 1980s, fearing competition, the Iranian regime pushed its main opposition group, known as the MEK, out of Iran. They fled to safety in Paris and later were forced to move to Iraq. At Camp Ashraf in Iraq, the MEK was repeatedly attacked by pro-Iranian forces. More than 140 MEK members were killed and more than 1,300 were wounded between 2009 and 2016. The attacks convinced members of Congress to issue six bipartisan resolutions to protect the MEK as “protected persons.” And the National Defense Authorization Act of 2015 called for the protection of MEK members in Iraq. By 2016, the US and United Nations helped the MEK to safely resettle to Albania. Gen. James Jones, the National Security Advisor to President Obama and former Commandant of the US Marine Corps, views the MEK and the broader coalition the National Council of Resistanc...

The Iranian Regime's Collapse Is Coming Soon

The Iranian Regime's Collapse Is Coming Soon By Shahriar Kia The long-suffering people of Iran have been making calls for regime change. They have been calling the regime out for its mismanagement and corruption. They have made it very clear that they do not support the regime’s interventions across the region. They want it to be known that they are horrified that the regime is spreading chaos across the Middle East. Millions of Iranians have been directly impacted by the credit organisations that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) is in control of. Millions have lost their entire life savings. They are also becoming increasingly outspoken about their situation on social media and through messaging apps. Gone are the days when the regime can limit what goes to press. Furthermore, the people are strongly supported by many people outside the country. The main opposition, the National council of Resistance of Iran ( NCRI ), has support from people across the...

WHO ARE THE MEK? PART 11

WHO ARE THE MEK? PART 11 In This piece, we will learn about how the ME revealed Iran’s nuclear program. The majority of people across the world recognise that the Iranian Regime is a violent, totalitarian, dictatorship with no respect for the rights of its people or the rest of the world. However, those people wrongly claim that the Iranian Regime has no viable alternative and that it is, therefore, acceptable to continue doing business with them. The thing is that the Regime has a viable alternative in the form of the oldest, largest, and most popular resistance organization in Iran, which has fought two separate regimes since it was founded in 1965. That is the People’s Mojahedin of Iran (PMOI/MEK). In order to help you learn more about the MEK, we have created an in-depth series. In this part, we will learn about how the MEK revealed the Iranian Regime’s clandestine nuclear program to the world. The MEK is completely opposed to the Iranian regime’s nuclear weapon...

Trump Should Express His Support of Iranian Demonstrators

Trump Should Express His Support of Iranian Demonstrators By Raymond Tanter Secretary of State Mike Pompeo laid out the basis for "The Trump Doctrine" in the November/December 2018 issue of Foreign Affairs: "Both on the campaign trail and in office, President Trump has been clear about the need for bold American leadership to put the United States’ security interests first." Consider how President Trump approaches Iran in contrast to how he handles North Korea, in an AP report of March 22. Trump tweeted he reversed his administration’s decision to slap new sanctions on North Korea, with his press secretary explaining that he “likes” leader Kim Jong Un and doesn’t think they’re necessary. It was announced on March 22 by Treasury that additional large-scale sanctions would be added to those already existing on North Korea. “Trump wrote that he ordered the withdrawal of those additional Sanctions!” In contrast to Pyongyang, President Trump purs...

Yes, the Iran regime has a viable alternative

Yes, the Iran regime has a viable alternative By Tom Ridge  Over the years, it has been my privilege to meet with Iranians whose spouses, children and friends are among the 120,000 executed since the mullahs took over the great country of Iran, whose culture is one of the world’s most sophisticated, its population one of the most literate and one of the youngest. Yet they remain under the thumb of what some in Washington still refer to as a “moderate” regime. I have been asked about the regime’s alleged moderation. Let’s look at Iranian elections in contrast to the Democratic candidacies this year, or the Republican primary last time around dozens of candidates. They don’t do that under the moderate regime in Iran. Everyone is vetted, and unless you are approved by the mullahs you can’t be a candidate. How about our First Amendment? We have more than 100 networks and television stations, free to roam, and newspapers everywhere. Freedom of press in Iran? Are t...

Iran’s democratic resistance movement can no longer be ignored

[Jakub Kaminski/EPA/EFE] Iran’s democratic resistance movement can no longer be ignored Iran’s democratic resistance movement can no longer be ignored Lord Ken Maginnis of Drumglass is a member of the House of Lords in the UK Parliament Even in the wake of a wide-ranging conference in Warsaw on the topic of Middle East policy, the United Kingdom and Europe remain at odds with the United States over the Iran nuclear deal and the broader question of how to deal with the government of the Islamic Republic. It is understandable that many UK lawmakers believe maintaining the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action is preferable to proceeding with no agreement whatsoever. But what they fail to take into account is the strong possibility that this and any other deal may be rendered null and void...
