THE HILL TV: IRAN UNTOLD STORY PART 2

THE HILL TV: IRAN UNTOLD STORY PART 2 Iran: The Untold Story is a 10-week sponsored miniseries that examines some of the under-reported challenges in the U.S.- Iran relationship and whether regime change in Tehran is possible without military intervention. WHO ARE THE MEK? PART 11

WHO ARE THE MEK? PART 11 In This piece, we will learn about how the ME revealed Iran’s nuclear program. The majority of people across the world recognise that the Iranian Regime is a violent, totalitarian, dictatorship with no respect for the rights of its people or the rest of the world. However, those people wrongly claim that the Iranian Regime has no viable alternative and that it is, therefore, acceptable to continue doing business with them. The thing is that the Regime has a viable alternative in the form of the oldest, largest, and most popular resistance organization in Iran, which has fought two separate regimes since it was founded in 1965. That is the People’s Mojahedin of Iran (PMOI/MEK). In order to help you learn more about the MEK, we have created an in-depth series. In this part, we will learn about how the MEK revealed the Iranian Regime’s clandestine nuclear program to the world. The MEK is completely opposed to the Iranian regime’s nuclear weapon...

THE MEK’S 10-POINT PLAN FOR A FREE IRAN

THE MEK’S 10-POINT PLAN FOR A FREE IRAN The end is near for the Iranian Regime. Every day, the mullahs are besieged by more crises on both a domestic, regional, and international level. It is clear they cannot survive much longer, as support for the despicable theocracy wanes by the day. And while support for the mullahs is ever-diminishing, support for the Iranian Resistance group, the  People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran ( PMOI/MEK ), headed by MaryamRajavi , is only growing. The majority of the Iranian people and the Iranian diaspora support the MEK and would encourage world leaders to do the same. Currently, Iran is experiencing dire floods that, as of writing, have killed almost 300, but the Iranian Regime has failed to send in rescue workers with aid. Instead, they sent in the suppressive security forces with guns. People have been shot dead for trying to protect their families, homes, and businesses from a natural disaster. Many more have died because ...

OPINION: AFTER 40 YEARS, IRAN IS NO  CLOSER TO ‘MODERATION’ Lord Anthony Clarke | Former Chairman, U.K. Labour Party In February 1979, the people of Iran threw off the rule of one dictator, only to watch as religious extremists installed another. Ayatollah Khomeini’s rise to power had far-reaching consequences for the Iranian people and for much of the world. The 40th anniversary of the Iranian Revolution represents an important opportunity to examine those consequences and reassess collective approaches to dealing with the regime and helping its people. In recent years, there has been talk of a trend toward “moderation” among Iran’s leadership. But even more recently, the Trump administration has turned sharply away from the former praise of Rouhani and his associates. Last May, the United States withdrew from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA). Despite the International Atomic Energy Agency saying Iran was generally in compliance with it...

Iran’s Heightened Fears of MEK Dissidents Are a Sign of Changing Times

Iran’s Heightened Fears of MEK Dissidents Are a Sign of Changing Times Iran has been the center of international attention in 2018. In light of unprecedented, continuous protests and strikes at home, a faltering economy, growing regional and international isolation, and the imposition of massive US sanctions, there are growing signs that the status quo has become untenable and the regime is finding it much more difficult to contain the situation. The theocratic regime’s new onslaught against its opponents, most notably against the principal opposition, the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran or Mujahedin-e-Khalq ( PMOI/MEK ), is a serious indicator of changing times in Iran. In addition to domestic repression, the multi-faceted campaign against the MEK entails terror plots in the West and massive disinformation and demonization in the media and on the Internet. Continuation of protests: The new Iran The most defining aspect of Iran in 2018 has b...

HOW THE MEK WOULD RUN IRAN

HOW THE MEK WOULD RUN IRAN The Iranian Regime is besieged by US sanctions, international condemnation for their malign behaviour, factional infighting, and domestic unrest that has taken the form of nationwide anti-regime protests led by democratic opposition force the People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran ( PMOI/MEK ). The MEK, as part of a wider coalition of democratic forces calling for regime change in Iran – the National Council of Resistance of Iran ( NCRI ), will take control in Iran for a six-month period following the fall of the mullahs to hold a free and fair election in order to form a national assembly and institute a new constitution. Given that it now seems more likely that the MEK will be taking power in Iran before too long, we thought we should look at the 10-point political platform they have adopted as it will so form the basis for the Iranian constitution. 1. The ballot box: The MEK believes that the only path to political legitim...
