U.S. Designates Iran Regime's Revolutionary Guards as Terrorist Organization
The United States designated Iran Regime's Revolutionary Guard Corps a foreign terrorist organization, President Donald Trump said on April 8.
Washington will continue to increase financial pressure and raise the costs on Iran "for its support of terrorist activity," Trump said in a statement.
The United States has already blacklisted tens of entities and people for affiliations with the IRGC, but not the organization as a whole.
Trump said: "This designation will be the first time that the United States has ever named a part of another government as an FTO,".
"It underscores the fact that Iran’s actions are fundamentally different from those of other governments."

Maryam Rajavi: Terrorist Designation of IRGC Is Imperative for Regional Peace and Stability
Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, described the inclusion of the suppressive Revolutionary Guards in the State Department’s list of Foreign Terrorist Organizations as a long-standing and righteous demand of the Iranian Resistance, an imperative for Middle East security, peace, and stability, and an urgent and necessary step to end war and terrorism throughout the region and the world.

'No Commercial Reason' for Iran's Mahan Air Flights to Venezuela: White House Official
A White House official said on Monday: The United States views private Iranian airline Mahan Air’s launch of a direct flight from Tehran to Caracas as a “politically motivated gesture” with “no commercial reason,”.
A White House official said, speaking on condition of anonymity: “From our standpoint, there’s clearly no commercial reason to establish this flight at this time,”.
The official said: “This is a politically motivated gesture that is unhelpful to the Venezuelan people because it doesn’t accelerate the change that we’re looking for,”.

Iranian Currency Drops 7.5 Percent After U.S. Designates Guards as Terror Organization
Reports from Iran indicate that in the wake of the U.S. decision to designate the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps as a foreign terror organization the Iranian currency took a nosedive at the end of the trading day on Monday.
The rial fell 7.5 percent to 144,000 rials to the dollar. On Sunday, April 7 the Iranian currency was trading at 134,000 to the dollar.
The head of Iran Regime’s central bank on Sunday tried to talk up the rial, anticipating the U.S. announcement, but it did not help on Monday once Washington designated the IRGC as a terrorist organization.
The IRGC controls a large share of the economy in the country and a tight economic noose around its business interests and a bigger chance of military escalation creates uncertainty for businesses and the people in Iran.

A Valid Alternative to the Current Regime in Iran

A Valid Alternative to the Current Regime in Iran By: Giulio Terzi former foreign affairs minister of Italy The national uprising of the last twelve months in Iran has launched a clear and unequivocal political message, leaving no doubt about the real desire of the people for a regime change. In response, regime officials at the highest levels, including supreme leader Ali Khamenei, have shown themselves to be particularly quick in attributing slogans such as "death to the dictator" and organizing of the revolt to the PMOI / MEK Movement, which has always been at the forefront to end the theocratic regime, its oppressive controls and violent repressions - implemented by the Iranian security and intelligence apparatus - and the immediate release of all political prisoners and for an Iran that fully respects its international obligations and rule of law. In this regard, it is important to underline how the political platform of the National Council of Resi...

THE MEK AT ASHRAF 3

Ashraf 3 - Albania THE MEK AT ASHRAF 3 INU - Back in 2013, the small nation of Albania began to take in the first Iranian dissidents from the People's Mojahedin of Iran ( PMOI/MEK ) and offer them refuge after the years of hell they had endured in Camp Ashraf and Camp Liberty inside Iraq. After a three-year-long transfer process, some 3,000 MEK members are safely housed in special accommodation in Tirana, provided by the United Nations High Commission for Refugees. This greatly angered the Iranian Regime, who had spent years trying to assassinate the MEK in Iran and in Iraq, where they were supposed to be protected. Now the MEK, the democratic opposition to the Regime would be able to largely live in peace and safety, which would only allow them to focus more energy on bringing freedom and democracy to the Iranian People. Soon enough, the time came for the MEK to move out of the accommodation arranged by the UNHCR and into their own space...
