Iran Hangs Prisoner in Public in Hamedan
The Iranian regime’s judiciary hanged a prisoner in public
yesterday in Hamedan, the state-run IRNA news agency reported.
The prisoner identified as Mehdi Cheraghi Far was charged
with “waging war against God through robbery.”
According to Amnesty International, at least 253 people were
executed in 2018 in Iran, while the number is over 3,500 since 2013, when
supposed moderate Hassan Rouhani took power.
MEK Network Focuses on IRGC Terror Designation
Members of the “Resistance Units,” a network associated
closely to the Iranian opposition group People's Mojahedin Organization of
Iran, along with their supporters, are expanding their activities in Khuzestan
Province, Tehran, Karaj, Kerman, Lorestan Province, Khash, Sari and Saveh. The
Resistance Units are putting up posters exposing the regime’s Revolutionary
Guards as a terrorist entity.
In Tehran, Resistance Unit members put up large posters of
Iranian Resistance leader Massoud Rajavi. They also put up a quote on the role
of the Revolutionary Guards in safeguarding the rule of the mullahs’ tyrannical
regime.
Iran's Cyber Police Goes After Street Musicians
The Iranian regime’s Cyber Police have blocked several
accounts owned by Iranian street musicians on Instagram, local reports say.
The Iranian cyber police, known by its Persian acronym
"FATA", has not elaborated on the nature of the "contents"
presumed "criminal."
As a rule, cracking down on arts under the pretext of
religious regulations is quite rife in Iran. Women are not allowed to perform
as vocalists wherever there are male audiences. The monopolized state-run TV
never shows musical instruments.
Iran Denies Treatment to Prisoner Suffering From Heart
Failure
Hasan Momtaz Sarvestani, a Baha’i prisoner in Evin prison and
a citizen of Shiraz, was transferred to hospital on Tuesday for medical
checkup. Although his physician has recommended that he stay in hospital to
undergo medical treatment, he was returned to the prison after a day. He has
been sentenced to five years in prison on the charge of teaching Persian
literature at the Baha’i Institute of Higher Education.
Iran Building New Crossing on Syria Border That Would Let It
Smuggle Weapons and Oil, Experts Say
New satellite images indicate Iran’s regime is building a
border crossing at the Syrian-Iraqi border, which would open up a coveted land
route from Iran to Lebanon, according to Western intelligence sources.
The images, obtained exclusively by Fox News and captured
earlier this week, show a new construction in the Albukamal Al-Qaim crossing.
The area is under the control of Pro-Iranian Shiite militias.
Last summer, Iran increased its presence in the area.
'Iran Using Houthis to Destabilize the Region'
Iran is trying to bring “chaos” to Yemen and “destabilize the
region” through Houthi militants, Colonel Turki Al Maliki, spokesman of the
Saudi-led coalition told CNN.
Al Maliki also spoke of the recent attack on Saudi
infrastructure by the Houthis saying: “Al Houthis are attacking those
infrastructures because they have the order, they received the order from the
Iranian Revolutionary Guard and they have to do it… We know that Al Houthi are
running a proxy war and they want to make a huge effect, not just on Saudi
Arabia, that affect will also be an economic issue for the Globe.”
