US Slaps New Sanctions on Iranian Regime's Supreme Leader Khamenei
The United States imposed sanctions Monday on the Iranian regime's supreme leader Ali Khamenei and a string of military chiefs, tightening pressure on the regime.
Trump signed the punitive financial measures in the Oval Office, calling it a "strong and proportionate response to Iran's increasingly provocative actions."
Repeating that "never can Iran have a nuclear weapon," Trump said it was now up to Tehran to negotiate.
Expanding on the new measures, the Treasury said the United States will blacklist the Iranian regime's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and block "billions" more in Iranian regime assets, with eight top commanders from the regime's Revolutionary Guards already added to the list.
Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, said in response to President Trump's announcement: "Sanctioning Khamenei and his office, the epicenter of crime, corruption and terrorism in Iran, is spot-on and most imperative. These sanctions must be expanded to the mullahs’ Ministry of Intelligence & Security, which has blocked the uprising for a free Iran."

"While we stand firmly against the Ayatollahs, we have the highest hopes for the Iranian people," he said.
Vice President Pence added that for 40 years, the Iranian regime has "propagated terror".
"They're the leading state sponsor of terror in the world. Those days must come to an end, and America is going to continue to stand, resolved, with the people of Iran for a better future for them," he said.

Three diplomats said the European signatories to the deal lodged the diplomatic demarche on June 22.
The Iranian regime has said it will not give the European powers more time beyond July 8 to save the nuclear deal. It has said it is ready to go through with a threat to enrich uranium to a higher level if Europe cannot shield Tehran from US sanctions.

The US Mission in the United Arab Emirates said on Monday that US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo discussed countering the threat from the Iranian regime in the region with the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi.
The mission had earlier tweeted that Pompeo will also discuss “building a global coalition to counter the world’s largest state sponsor of terror” during his visit to Abu Dhabi.
A senior US State Department official earlier said the United States is building a coalition with its allies to protect Gulf shipping lanes by having “eyes on all shipping”, following attacks on oil tankers that Washington has blamed on the Iranian regime.

A Valid Alternative to the Current Regime in Iran

A Valid Alternative to the Current Regime in Iran By: Giulio Terzi former foreign affairs minister of Italy The national uprising of the last twelve months in Iran has launched a clear and unequivocal political message, leaving no doubt about the real desire of the people for a regime change. In response, regime officials at the highest levels, including supreme leader Ali Khamenei, have shown themselves to be particularly quick in attributing slogans such as "death to the dictator" and organizing of the revolt to the PMOI / MEK Movement, which has always been at the forefront to end the theocratic regime, its oppressive controls and violent repressions - implemented by the Iranian security and intelligence apparatus - and the immediate release of all political prisoners and for an Iran that fully respects its international obligations and rule of law. In this regard, it is important to underline how the political platform of the National Council of Resi...

THE MEK AT ASHRAF 3

Ashraf 3 - Albania THE MEK AT ASHRAF 3 INU - Back in 2013, the small nation of Albania began to take in the first Iranian dissidents from the People's Mojahedin of Iran ( PMOI/MEK ) and offer them refuge after the years of hell they had endured in Camp Ashraf and Camp Liberty inside Iraq. After a three-year-long transfer process, some 3,000 MEK members are safely housed in special accommodation in Tirana, provided by the United Nations High Commission for Refugees. This greatly angered the Iranian Regime, who had spent years trying to assassinate the MEK in Iran and in Iraq, where they were supposed to be protected. Now the MEK, the democratic opposition to the Regime would be able to largely live in peace and safety, which would only allow them to focus more energy on bringing freedom and democracy to the Iranian People. Soon enough, the time came for the MEK to move out of the accommodation arranged by the UNHCR and into their own space...
